Tatiana's ballgown
The Pygmalion Society BJD (Ball-Jointed Doll) meetup happens in every month in London and as my time lets me.
These meetups are for people who love dolls, especially this BJD kind of dollies. Then we meet at a previously agreed place, bring cakes and nibbles, then the fun begins! Nope, not in every case it is a dolyl teaparty - but taking Sloads of photos posing them, trying on dresses and hairs, and obviously discuss the latest releases.
For this month's meetup there was a royal theme, so obviously there was yet another reason for a mid-Victorian ballgown for Tatiana. Which had to be completed in 1,5 days. Literally. (Eyes were burnt, tears were shed but the dress was ready in all its glory)
The pictures are taken by the ever so sweet Libachan, thanks Libus!
Oh, the joy of something-has-been-made-in-time. At least my huge blue bags under my eye aren’t showing.
The next project for her will either be an early 20th century bicycle dress or this lovely piece of pigeon love:
